Back the truck up. First of all, since when did the PC community consider it flattering to be compared to Apple? Second, in answer to this article’s question “Is HP the New Apple?”: NO. Hewlett-Packard releasing a bunch of new gadgets does not correspond to setting the bar for the industry. Apple sells unique, innovative systems and solutions. HP makes good printers, certainly, but none of these new gadgets even approach what might be considered brilliant. I’m all for nifty doohickeys, but please don’t confuse good business with real vision.
